Description
The City of Leesburg is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supervision, pest eradication, and preventative pest control services for designated City buildings. The City may add or remove facility locations in writing during the contract term. The solicitation covers pest control services including termite inspection and control, bird proofing, animal trapping, rodent control, extermination, fumigation, and pest control other than buildings, including spraying of trees and shrubs. The prime contractor must hold at least one Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services pest-control certification, have five years of pest-control business experience in an FDACS category, and identify any subcontractors. References must include both the prime contractor's and subcontractor's pest-control experience. Addendum No. 1 states that no bid bond, insurance, budget, or set-aside is required. The agreement has a three-year base term with two additional one-year renewal options.
