Description
Wayne Township is soliciting open-ended contracts for the furnishing and delivery of new, unused vehicle and equipment parts for various Township-owned vehicles and equipment. Parts must be designed, manufactured, or approved by the original equipment manufacturer and supplied through its dealer or distribution network; bidders must provide proof that they are approved dealers or distributors for the offered manufacturers. The contract covers multiple vehicle and equipment makes, with vendors bidding by line item using store selling prices. The Township anticipates zero to 50 orders per vendor per contract year, with a total contract amount not to exceed $60,000 per contract year across awarded categories and vendors. Quotes must be provided at no charge within three business days of request, and deliveries must be made to the Township Department of Public Works within three business days of receiving a purchase order. The contract may run for up to two years, with up to two additional one-year extensions.
