Description
Sevier School District is soliciting a single prime contractor for the complete interior remodel of the South Sevier High School auditorium. The approximately 8,000-square-foot project includes demolition and renovation of existing auditorium spaces; masonry, concrete, carpentry, doors, finishes, acoustical treatments, fixed seating, stage flooring, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, audiovisual, fire alarm, and security work. The scope also includes theatrical lighting controls, relay panels, emergency lighting transfer and DMX bypass systems, lighting fixtures, connector strips, lighting control consoles, audiovisual systems, and evaluation, cleaning, recertification, and rebalancing of the existing stage rigging system. A bid alternate would replace the existing electrics rigging with a complete delegated-design motorized rigging system. Bidders must submit a point-by-point technical response, a separate cost response, a proposed construction schedule, qualifications and similar-project experience, a subcontractors list, a project cost breakdown, and references. The contract length is stated as until complete, with the project scheduled to begin December 1, 2026, and reach substantial completion by June 30, 2027.
