Description
The State of Michigan is soliciting full-size non-lift and lift-equipped transit vans for authorized Michigan transit agencies and other eligible governmental entities. Vehicles must meet specified Class I through Class IV requirements, support passenger and wheelchair configurations, comply with applicable ADA, FMVSS, FTA bus-testing, Buy America, and other federal requirements, and include detailed equipment, chassis, seating, wheelchair securement, lift, safety, electrical, HVAC, and accessibility features. The contractor must complete the provided specification and equipment-checklist forms, submit pricing in the provided Excel cost model, provide technical and engineering documentation, certifications, testing records, warranties, a valid motor vehicle dealer license, dealer authorization, and a completed driver-delivery affidavit. Contract responsibilities include delivery within 210 calendar days of order, final inspection and corrections, training, quarterly reporting, warranty support, parts and service for seven years after vehicles enter service, and compliance with required insurance and service-level standards. The contract is effective March 1, 2027, through February 28, 2031, with up to two additional one-year renewals.
