Description
The Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority is seeking a contractor to furnish and empty waste and mixed recycling containers at various airport locations on and off site. The scope includes scheduled waste and recycling pickups, occasional on-call pickups, spill cleanup, container supply and maintenance, and replacement recommendations for the existing 32-yard trash and recycling compactors. Recycling containers will contain mixed cardboard, tin, plastic, glass, and paper and will not require material separation. The initial contract term is three years beginning November 1, 2026, with two optional one-year renewals. Containers must be installed within one week of award, and the contractor must comply with applicable OSHA, MIOSHA, airport security, permitting, licensing, and regulatory requirements. Respondents must provide three references for similar work. Responses may be submitted by mail or electronically as a single PDF upload; electronic file names must include a form or portion of the firm's name.
