Description
The Village of Estero is seeking qualified for-profit or nonprofit corporations, partnerships, and registered joint ventures authorized to do business in Florida to provide miscellaneous construction continuing services on an as-needed basis. Contractors must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete authorized work to the Village's quality standards. The scope includes building maintenance, demolition and site cleanup, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, paving and concrete, landscaping and grounds maintenance, painting and finishing, fencing, roofing, masonry, traffic control, recreational facilities, utility and waterworks, and related construction services. This qualifications-based opportunity establishes a list of pre-approved firms for operational and maintenance needs under a five-year contract. Individual projects are not expected to exceed $75,000; projects above that amount would require Village Council approval and would likely be separately bid. DBE and W/MBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Required insurance includes automobile liability, commercial general liability, employer's liability, workers' compensation, and other coverages specified in the solicitation materials.
