TOWN OF MARBLEHEAD INVITATION FOR BID 27-15 Replacement of Landscape Timber Stairs and Retaining Walls The Town seeks a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equip- ment, tools, transportation, supervision, permits, and incidentals neces- sary to remove and replace the deteriorated upper landscape-timber stair section and the two adjacent retaining-wall sections at the Hammond Nature Center. The Town of Marblehead invites sealed bids. Bids will be received un- til September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM via the Town's Procurement Portal https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/marblehead. A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total project is required. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the sum of 50% of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidder. The Town of Marblehead is soliciting sealed bids from a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, permits, and incidentals required to remove and replace the deteriorated upper landscape-timber stair section and two adjacent retaining-wall sections at the Hammond Nature Center. The project is classified under carpentry services and is subject to prevailing-wage requirements. A bid deposit of at least 5% of the total project is required.
