Description
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision is soliciting a contractor to provide a 25-yard shooting range with 10 stations for 9mm handgun training and employee initial qualification, pre-qualification, and annual requalification. The facility must support up to 10 shooters per day, weekday access during the operating season, qualification sessions between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., low-light/night training when requested, adequate parking, and required roadway maintenance and repairs. The contractor must also provide a classroom/training space for approximately 15 people, utilities and connectivity, sanitation and waste services, staff inspection after daily use, and storage for a DOCCS ammunition bunker, office trailer, and container. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewals. Bidders must submit the completed bid price page and required certifications and supporting information, including insurance and workers’ compensation/disability-benefits documentation required at bid submission.
