Description
This solicitation is for the construction of a new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Atlanta Regional Airport - Falcon Field. The project scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the ATCT building. Key activities involve demolition, site grading, drainage improvements, utility installation, construction of bituminous driveway and parking lot pavement, installation of concrete sidewalks, implementation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control measures, and installation of pavement markings. All work must comply with applicable local, state, and FAA requirements. Federal requirements apply to this solicitation, including but not limited to the Davis Bacon Act, Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity, Copeland Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Governmentwide Debarment and Suspension, Buy American Preferences, and Foreign Trade Restriction. Bidders must certify that steel and manufactured products are produced in the United States, with exceptions available upon request from Michael Baker International.
