Description
Clark Public Utilities is soliciting bids for replacement of approximately 2,121 linear feet of 8-inch water main and appurtenances. The work includes connections to existing water mains, service replacements, fire hydrant replacements, abandonment and filling of existing water main pipes, and pavement and trench restoration, along with all work shown in the plans and specifications. The engineer’s estimate is $551,415, excluding Washington State sales tax. Bidders must submit a bid guaranty consisting of either an original surety-company bid bond on the owner’s form or a cashier’s or certified check in an amount of at least 5% of the total bid amount, including additives and alternates and excluding sales tax.
