Description
Kitsap Transit, on behalf of the Peninsula Regional Transportation Planning Organization, seeks a consultant to evaluate and improve the organization's Squarespace website and associated files for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The work includes an initial accessibility gap analysis, a remediation plan, website and file updates, and development or deployment of tools to identify and correct accessibility issues. The selected consultant must test and validate the website and its contents, provide certification, train staff, document remediation actions and testing results, and establish procedures and a long-term method for maintaining accessibility compliance. Proposals must address firm qualifications, relevant public-agency and accessibility experience, at least three similar projects completed within the past five years, assigned personnel, and a detailed cost proposal.
