Description
Bergen County seeks proposals for programs serving youth ages 8–17 who are at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system or have been charged or adjudicated as delinquent. Proposed programs must address at least one service priority and one referral category, such as positive youth development, vocational skills, mentoring, family engagement, mental health, after-school or summer programming, substance-use education or treatment, diversion, detention alternatives, disposition, or reentry. Programs should address causes and correlates of delinquency and prioritize eligible youth from designated municipalities. The proposal package requests a program narrative, service-level and outcome plans, staffing and administration information, and a detailed budget. Approximately $950,000 is available for the January 1–December 31, 2027 contract period; awards may be renewed for up to two additional one-year options, subject to funding and other conditions.
