Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for electrical feeder upgrades at Black Rock Lake Dam. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 238210, with an estimated magnitude of $750,000 to $1,250,000 and an approximately 180-day period of performance. Work includes replacing the overhead dam feeder with a buried conduit duct bank; removing and replacing the gate tower feeder, manual transfer switches, 480V Panel-A, transformer, and 120/208 Panel-B; installing a propane generator set, underground propane tank and line; and installing an automatic transfer switch to supply existing panel MDP-1 from either utility power or the generator. The generator must power both the project office and gate tower during utility loss, and the propane tank must provide five days of runtime.
