Description
The City of Denison, Iowa, is offering approximately 23.39 acres of real property known as Burgess Acres for sale by sealed bid. The property includes approximately 22.05 acres of cropland and is located near the intersection of South 8th Street and 25th Avenue South in Denison. The property is offered as-is, where-is, without representations or warranties regarding acreage, boundaries, soil productivity, condition, zoning, utilities, access, or suitability for a particular use. Bids must state the bidder's legal name and contact information, total purchase price in both words and numbers, signature, and any additional information for City Council consideration. The three highest qualified bidders may be invited to submit one additional sealed bid. The City Council may accept or reject any bid, reject all bids, or decline to sell the property, subject to Iowa legal requirements and required public proceedings. The successful bidder will be responsible for applicable closing and recording costs unless otherwise agreed.
