Description
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, is soliciting a general contractor under a stipulated lump-sum contract for renovations to the historic Tip Top House at Mount Washington State Park. The work includes selective demolition; electrical-room renovations; floor, door, and hardware repairs; installation of owner-furnished ceiling boards; selective interior painting; and upgrades to power, lighting, panelboards, feeder lines, and related electrical systems to meet current code requirements. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, supervision, temporary facilities, testing, and other services necessary for a complete project, including coordination of difficult summit access and weather conditions. The bid includes a $25,000 contingency allowance. Work is scheduled to begin June 1, 2027, with final completion by September 30, 2027. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid subtotal is required. Performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract award are required when the award is $75,000 or more. Bidders must use the provided Bid Proposal Form and Schedule of Values and must be registered as New Hampshire vendors and, where applicable, with the New Hampshire Secretary of State.
