Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking scheduled regulated garbage pickup services for foreign waste generated from aircraft operations. The contractor must collect the waste from the refrigerated storage unit, coordinate pickups with Fleet Services, weigh and verify the waste before departure, transport it to an approved off-base facility, and dispose of it through USDA APHIS-compliant incineration, sterilization, or grinding processes. Services must generally occur at intervals not exceeding five days, with up to six pickups per month, and the contractor must provide emergency pickups with 24-hour notice. The contractor must maintain compliant vehicles and equipment, provide garbage profile documentation for the designated facility, manage spill response, comply with USDA, federal, state, and local requirements, and meet installation access, antiterrorism, operational security, and personnel screening requirements. The requirement includes one 12-month base year with year-to-year renewal options.
