Description

The State University Construction Fund is soliciting bids for the partial renovation of Tuttle North at SUNY Brockport. The approximately 63,509-gross-square-foot project will add a multipurpose turf field, renovate two existing gyms, and construct new locker rooms and associated restrooms. Work also includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection updates in the renovated areas, along with hazardous materials abatement. A project-specific Project Labor Agreement applies to the project and permits bidding by union and non-union contractors; the low bidder must execute and comply with the agreement, including its staffing requirements. Subcontracting is permitted, and principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hours after bid opening. Bidders must provide evidence of skill, experience, and financial qualifications. The project has SDVOB, MBE, and WBE contracting goals, as well as workforce goals of 6% minority and 3% female participation.
