Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, inspect, and return NRP Bottle FE-36 components to a Ready for Issue condition. The requirement identifies part number 474615-1 and NSN 1680-01-609-8991, and requires the contractor to provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, and testing equipment necessary for the work. Repairs must follow the applicable drawings, repair manuals, and specifications, including the latest revision of the identified manufacturer drawing. The contractor must perform the work at the repair facility identified in the solicitation, maintain repair and inspection procedures for Government review and approval, comply with ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100 quality requirements, maintain an acceptable calibration system, and provide enclosed warehouse storage for items awaiting and completing repair. The solicitation also addresses beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, and over-and-above repair conditions, as well as Government approval requirements for changes to repair sources, facilities, manuals, drawings, and specifications. Quotes may include either a firm-fixed price or estimated repair costs.
