Description
Ocean County is seeking providers to deliver a coordinated, short-term continuum of family crisis intervention and family navigation services for at-risk youth and youth involved with the Family Court system. Services include crisis response and de-escalation, family stabilization, system navigation, service coordination, warm handoffs, barrier reduction, Family Court navigation within the provider’s authorized role, and follow-up to confirm successful service connection and engagement. The program is intended to operate primarily at the diversion and early-intervention points of the Youth Justice Continuum while avoiding unnecessary escalation or duplication of existing court, probation, school, behavioral health, substance-use, and case-management responsibilities. Applicants must demonstrate relevant organizational experience, appropriately licensed professionals, compliance with New Jersey licensing requirements, capacity for timely response, and the ability to provide culturally responsive, trauma-responsive, family-centered services throughout Ocean County. Proposals must include a service model, organizational and staffing information, project narrative, fee-for-service cost proposal, and required certifications and supporting documents. Available funding totals $186,028: $138,628 for Family Crisis Intervention and $47,400 for Family Navigation Services. The initial contract period is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with annual renewals possible for a total period not exceeding five years, subject to performance and funding.
