Description
Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting bids to replace 287 distribution structures along the Grid Phase 2. Work includes removing existing structures; installing new wood poles, pole-top assemblies, hardware, and insulators; transferring telecommunications, services, transformers, and existing conductors; and replacing identified copper neutral spans with 1/0 ACSR. The contractor is responsible for labor, equipment, installation, and specified restoration and disposal work. The Commission will furnish many distribution materials, while the contractor must provide other materials as specified. The bid includes assembly-unit and conductor pricing, a proposed construction schedule, project management staffing, workforce experience information, references for similar projects, and a subcontractor list.
