Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation seeks a prequalified contractor to mow shoulders and medians along state highway routes, trim vegetation around guardrails, signs, poles, and other stationary objects, and remove litter and debris from designated roadside areas in Edgecombe County. Work includes routine and cleanup mowing, trimming, and litter pickup, with equipment, labor, transportation, and disposal provided by the contractor. The solicitation specifies mowing cycles, equipment and traffic-control requirements, work-hour restrictions, and completion deadlines.
