Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to extend electrical power and plumbing from the existing Aerospace Ground Equipment Shop to the designated exterior wash rack at Building 381. Work includes asphalt cutting, trenching, installation of electrical conduit, breakers, service lines, plumbing, drain lines, water connections, valves, pump and switch connections, testing, trench backfill, compaction, and asphalt replacement. The contractor must provide a technical execution plan of no more than two pages, including a safe execution narrative and a realistic schedule demonstrating completion within the 100-day period of performance. The work must comply with applicable federal, state, local, and base requirements; required construction submittals include material approval information, catalog data, hazardous-material documentation and safety data sheets, and a comprehensive safety plan. The project is evaluated using lowest-price technically acceptable procedures, with a single lump-sum firm-fixed price required for CLIN 0001. A one-year craftsmanship warranty and manufacturers' stated warranties are required at closeout.
