REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SITE-BASED WAIT LIST DISCRIMINATION TESTING BHA Job No. 1974-02 The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) seeks proposals from qualified universities, firms and/or individuals for indepen- dent testing of its Site-Based Wait Lists in accordance with the requirements of 24 CFR § 903.7(b)(2)(v)(B). The Scope of Services includes the use of independent testers or other means satisfactory to the Department of Housing and Ur- ban Development (HUD) to assure that the BHA's site-based waiting lists are not being implemented in a discriminatory manner and that no patterns or practices of discrimination exist. A written report of the methods and findings will be delivered to HUD. The contract will have a three (3) year base term with one (1) one-year extension option exercisable at BHA's sole dis- cretion. Description
The Boston Housing Authority seeks qualified universities, firms, or individuals to independently test its site-based wait lists in accordance with 24 CFR 903.7(b)(2)(v)(B). The work must use independent testers or another method acceptable to the Department of Housing and Urban Development to determine whether the wait lists are being implemented in a discriminatory manner and whether patterns or practices of discrimination exist. The contractor must deliver a written report of the testing methods and findings to HUD. The estimated contract amount is $75,000, subject to confirmation against the independent cost estimate. The contract includes a three-year base term and one one-year extension option exercisable at the BHA's sole discretion.
