Description
The City of Maryland Heights is soliciting sealed bids for the removal and proper disposal of 21 trees: 19 located within city rights-of-way and two located on private property. The contractor must provide all materials, equipment, tools, and labor; cut the trees as close to the ground as possible; haul away all portions of the trees; keep any overnight logs off sidewalks; and leave the work areas broom clean. Bidders must provide a unit price per tree, a total price for all 21 trees, and a proposed removal timeline. The successful bidder must comply with Missouri prevailing-wage requirements and applicable worker-safety and federal work-authorization requirements. A bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid.
