Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The Government is seeking small-business sources capable of providing comprehensive repair services for 96 Motorola APX-6000 land mobile radios. The contractor would provide labor, facilities, equipment, diagnostic software, and genuine Motorola OEM parts to diagnose defects, replace damaged or missing components, preserve each radio’s original programming and code-plug information, and restore the radios to fully operational, factory-certified condition. The Performance Work Statement requires use of current Motorola code-plug software version R39.00.00, compliance with Motorola maintenance specifications and UL intrinsically safe standards, post-repair transmit and receive testing, a diagnostic test report with each returned radio, and UL certification confirming that each radio’s intrinsically safe rating was not compromised. Interested businesses must provide company and capability information, identify their size and applicable socioeconomic statuses, describe similar Government and commercial work performed during the past three years, and identify any teaming arrangements, including the division of work between the prime and teaming partners.
