Description
The USDA Forest Service seeks a part-time Center Mental Health Consultant for Pine Ridge Job Corps Center, with an estimated 520 hours per year. The consultant must provide on-site mental health care to students, including applicant file reviews and assessments, intake and treatment planning, short-term therapy, crisis intervention, case management, referrals, and documentation in student health records. The work also includes staff and student training, mental health promotion and education, support groups, and coordination with center health and wellness staff and other providers. The consultant must hold an active, unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker and be an independent practitioner in the state where services are performed. The solicitation requires at least one year of relevant experience providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults. The selected contractor must maintain insurance coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate; proof is due to the contracting officer upon request. The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options, and quotations are evaluated on technical capability, past performance, and price.
