Description
The project involves constructing one elevated water tank with a capacity of 500,000 to 600,000 gallons, along with electrical work, site work, and related appurtenant work. Bids are accepted for either composite or pedestal-style tanks. Bidders must submit proposals on the Engineer-provided forms and include bid security equal to 10% of the total bid as a bid bond, or 5% as a certified or bank check. The project includes Minority Business Enterprise and Women's Business Enterprise participation goals of 1.5% and 2.4%, respectively, and requires compliance with Davis-Bacon wage requirements and applicable American Iron and Steel provisions.
