Description
The project calls for furnishing and installing playground equipment, a gaga ball pit, a 28-by-30-foot fabric shade structure with concrete piers, and engineered wood fiber and synthetic grass playground surfacing, as shown in the project drawings and specifications. Installation is planned for April 2027, weather permitting. Proposals will be evaluated on price, play value and design, product quality and durability, warranty, installer experience and qualifications, and schedule and lead time. Substitution requests for the specified basis of design are accepted through October 30, 2026; approved substitutions are to be issued by addendum no later than November 4, 2026. Proposals must remain valid for 45 days after the due date. The selected proposer must execute the construction manager’s standard subcontract and comply with its insurance and safety requirements; a separate add cost for a payment and performance bond is requested.
