Description
The City seeks a qualified consulting firm to assess its current emergency medical and ambulance services and develop an EMS/Ambulance Service Strategic Plan with sustainability options. The plan should provide an independent assessment of current services and recommend actions addressing long-term sustainability and potential service-area or service-methodology options. The assessment area includes the city limits, a nearby military installation, portions of two counties, and other adjacent areas the City determines appropriate. The work is prompted by population growth and financial sustainability challenges; ambulance services are currently provided by a municipal fire department.
