Description
Cape Fear Community College seeks a qualified design-build HVAC team for selective renovations at Building S. The work includes replacing variable air volume units, hot water coils, and control dampers on the second floor; replacing direct digital controls on ground-floor air handlers; installing associated hot water piping, grilles, outside-air dampers and actuators, fire dampers, and other accessories; upgrading air-handler starters to variable-frequency drives; and extending outdoor boiler flues. The scope also includes removing and replacing ceiling grid and tile. The response must include three hard copies of the Letter of Interest and SF-254 or SF-330, plus a digital copy. The Letter of Interest is limited to 20 single-sided pages or 10 double-sided pages, in addition to the form. Submittals must be stapled in the upper-left corner on 8.5-by-11-inch pages; notebooks, binders, tabs, and clips are not to be included. Firms must be properly licensed in North Carolina to provide the applicable architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture services. The stated total project budget is $850,000.
