Description
Brunswick County seeks a qualified engineering firm for professional engineering, design, project management, and construction oversight for a wastewater force main project. The project includes approximately 14,000 linear feet of 24-inch force main and 22,100 linear feet of 18-inch force main, installed parallel to existing sewer mains. Work includes preliminary studies and alternatives analysis, surveying, wetlands delineation, geotechnical investigation, design, permitting, easement support, preparation of bid documents, and assistance during bidding and construction. The selected firm will also prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and related reports and deliverables. The qualifications statement must describe the firm's organization and relevant experience, identify project personnel and any subcontractors, provide experience on at least three similar projects, include a project schedule and approach, and explain the firm's ability to scope the work, including task-based labor-hour estimates. Responses are evaluated on relevant experience, key personnel, project scoping and management, project approach, and schedule capability. Five hard copies and one electronic copy on a USB drive are required.
