Description
The North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services seeks full-delivery mitigation projects in Cataloging Unit 03030001 of the White Oak River Basin. Requested credits are 3,000 warm-stream credits, 3 riparian-wetland credits, and 5 non-riparian-wetland credits. Stream-only projects are acceptable; wetland-only projects are not, and preservation credits may not exceed 50% of total credits. The selected vendor will develop and implement mitigation sites, secure permits, convey a conservation easement to the State, provide financial assurance, and complete monitoring and reporting. The scope includes environmental screening, site and easement documentation, mitigation planning, earthwork, planting, baseline monitoring, as-built drawings, and at least seven years of monitoring. Proposals must include technical and cost components, project maps and boundary data, pricing for each proposed site or option, and specified vendor certifications and forms.
