Onward Homes Society is seeking a turnkey flooring contractor to replace existing carpet and legacy materials across 23 floors at Murdoch Manor and George King Tower in Calgary. The work includes demolition, daily off-site disposal, intensive subfloor preparation, and installation of glue-down commercial luxury vinyl plank flooring. The flooring must be at least 5 mm thick with a 20 mil wear layer and an R10 minimum anti-slip rating. The scope also includes mandatory relative-humidity moisture testing on all floors, mechanical concrete profiling to CSP 2–3 by diamond grinding or scarifying, six-inch rubber cove base, and code-compliant beveled transitions. The stated maximum budget is CAD 220,000, and the estimated contract period is one month with a proposed start date of November 1, 2026.
