Description
The Rock Island County Forest Preserve District is soliciting unit-price bids for repair and restoration work at Lake George Dam. The scope includes mobilization, safe spillway access, removal and in-kind replacement of joint sealant, excavation of drainage rills, filter fabric, RR-5 riprap, partial-depth concrete repair at the spillway, crack sealing at the spillway wall, cutting existing anchor bolts, and slope restoration. Bidders must obtain and submit the specified bid forms, join the Plan Holders List, and comply with the Illowa Construction Labor and Management Council IMPACT Memorandum of Understanding, prevailing wage requirements for Rock Island County, and Illinois Department of Transportation material approval and documentation requirements. The awarded contractor must perform at least 51% of the work, and bidders must provide three similar reference projects with owner contact information to obtain the bidding documents.
