NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support seeks potential sources capable of manufacturing the MT06 cartridge actuated initiator, NSN 1377-01-269-6496, to source control drawing 6260964 for use in the AH-64 helicopter egress system. The contractor would furnish the labor, materials, and facilities needed to manufacture the item. The Government states that it does not possess or cannot provide the data needed for manufacture and intends to solicit and negotiate with two approved sources under FAR 6.302-1. This is a sources-sought notice, not a request for competitive proposals. Interested responsible sources may submit capability statements by the response deadline. Source approval may be required, and the Government will not delay an award while approval is pending.
