Description
Commonwealth Charter Academy is requesting proposals for high-speed telecommunications services, including Dedicated Internet Access and Layer 2 fiber point-to-point circuits connecting its hub and satellite locations. Requested services range from 1 Gbps to 50 Gbps across 18 service units and may include symmetrical DIA circuits, static IP address blocks, managed routers, required Ethernet and fiber handoffs, VLAN tagging, and any additional transport or equipment needed. The service provider must offer 24/7 network monitoring and technical support, begin repairs within four hours of an outage, provide onsite support within 24 hours, and support specified availability, latency, packet delivery, jitter, bit-error, and service-level requirements. Proposals must include pricing, service terms, transition planning where applicable, references for three similar Pennsylvania school-district projects funded through E-Rate, standard contract terms, applicable one-time charges, and completed Attachment A and/or Attachment B worksheets. The anticipated cutover date is July 1, 2027, and the project is contingent on E-Rate funding and the district's decision to proceed.
