Description
The State of West Virginia, through the Division of Natural Resources, is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified architectural and engineering firms for upgrades and maintenance work at the Plum Orchard Lake Shooting Range and Kanawha State Forest shooting range. The scope includes reviewing site conditions and feasibility, developing concepts and methods of approach, designing and permitting the facilities, preparing construction documents, and providing construction contract administration services. The response must address the project goals, including minimizing cost and ecological disturbance, complying with applicable laws and codes, and ensuring that the completed facilities are constructed and function as designed. Vendors must submit qualifications and performance data, including relevant staff experience, similar project descriptions, references, applicable certifications or degrees, and a proposed staffing plan. The State will evaluate qualifications, experience and past performance, anticipated concepts and methods of approach, and oral interviews; price information is prohibited in the expression of interest.
