Description
UNDP is seeking a contractor to design, supply, install, test, and commission standalone solar photovoltaic systems with battery backup for 18 SMEs and community facilities in Takhar and Badakhshan Provinces. The scope includes approximately 100 kWp of total capacity, including 5 kW systems and a 15 kW system, rooftop or ground-mounted structures, lithium-ion battery storage, inverters, mounting structures, AC/DC distribution and cabling, grounding and lightning protection, safety equipment, fire protection, labeling, testing, commissioning, and related documentation. The contractor must provide technical submittals, catalogues, datasheets, certificates, warranty documentation, photographs, compliance information, a work plan, quality and safety plans, testing and commissioning documentation, training in English, Dari, and Pashto, and operation and maintenance services for at least 12 months. The solicitation requires relevant solar project experience, a similar completed contract valued at least USD 160,000, minimum average annual turnover of USD 160,000 for the top three of the past five years, audited financial statements, qualified personnel, and a 10% performance security. Quotations are submitted through the UNDP Quantum supplier portal, with attachments generally required in PDF format unless otherwise instructed.
