Description
The Mississippi State Department of Health's Office of STD/HIV is seeking applications from eligible non-federal organizations to coordinate and support the Mississippi HIV Planning Body. The selected subgrantee will provide administrative, logistical, facilitation, and technical support, including planning regular and committee meetings, maintaining membership and attendance records, supporting recruitment and orientation, coordinating communications and travel reimbursement, assisting with statewide needs assessments and HIV planning, organizing an annual retreat, maintaining records, evaluating operations, and preparing quarterly and final reports. Applicants must demonstrate organizational capacity, relevant HIV/STI or public-health experience, experience coordinating advisory or planning bodies, community and lived-experience engagement, fiscal and grant-management capability, statewide service capacity, and qualified staffing. The total anticipated funding is $50,000, which may be divided among multiple subgrantees. Applications must address the required organizational, technical, staffing, work-plan, quality-management, budget, conflict-of-interest, and eligibility questions and upload supporting materials such as a UEI/SAM.gov registration record, W-9, organizational chart, key-personnel resumes or curricula vitae, proposed work plan, and budget.
