Description
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is soliciting bids for a minimum of two and a maximum of four new vertical turbine pumping units. The units must meet specified hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and operational requirements, including approximately 3,400 gallons per minute at 40 feet of total dynamic head, 1,800-rpm variable-frequency operation, minimum 84% duty-point efficiency, a 50-horsepower vertical hollow-shaft motor, and 480-volt three-phase power. The scope includes complete pump assemblies, discharge piping, valves, electrical service, variable-frequency drives, grounding, controls, level instrumentation, alarms, creek-stage lockout, rigging, field alignment, startup, testing, manuals, and owner training. The equipment must be factory tested and field demonstrated for flow, head, speed-range operation, interlocked controls, and fail-safe shutdown. Delivery, assembly, and installation must begin within 16 days after the applicable purchase order or contract execution, as specified in the bid documents.
