Description
The County of Sussex seeks safety shoes and work boots for approximately 150 employees, with no guaranteed purchase quantity. Bidders must quote discounts from manufacturers’ list prices for the specified brands or approved equivalents, and provide current catalogs and supporting product information for proposed equivalents. The footwear must meet the stated safety standards and include a range of boot styles, sizes, widths, and sole characteristics. Orders must be available for pickup or delivery within 30 calendar days, and improperly fitting boots must be reordered at no additional cost. A three-month warranty against defects is required. The awarded vendor must provide a staffed shoe-mobile at designated county locations at least twice annually. The vendor must also track employee purchases and provide transaction records. The contract is for 12 months, with one possible additional 12-month extension. The pricing form requests percentage discounts by brand; the County does not guarantee quantities.
