Description
The University of Georgia seeks one or more contractors to provide and administer a safety shoe program for participating departments. The scope includes supplying new protective footwear that meets ASTM F2413 and applicable OSHA requirements, with a broad selection of styles, manufacturers, sizes, and safety features. Departmental allowances may vary, and the contractor must offer multiple compliant footwear options within each allowance level. Program services include fittings, size exchanges, warranty and return support, ordering solutions, customer service, and purchase and utilization reporting. Suppliers must describe their service plan, fitting methodology, exchange and return procedures, and reporting capabilities, and provide at least three references for similar programs. The solicitation also requests a cost worksheet and supplier responses to the event's mandatory and scored questions. The contract is initially for one year, with four one-year renewal options at the university's discretion; no minimum or maximum expenditure is guaranteed.
