Description
The City is seeking uniform apparel and footwear for Parking Control Officers and other municipal departments. The bid includes specified quantities of pants, shorts, shirts, coats, jackets, hats, belts, shoes, boots, badges, and other apparel. Bidders must price all listed items except for specified footwear categories where bidding on any or all items is permitted; proposed products must identify the manufacturer and model, and equivalents may be offered for City approval. Product cut sheets are requested with the bid, and the updated pricing sheet must be submitted. The contract includes furnishing and delivery, free sewing of City-supplied patches, and free alterations when needed, with those costs included in item prices. Items must be available for delivery within 30 days of an order. The vendor must demonstrate before award that it can provide service from a principal place of business or area representative within 50 miles of City Hall. The initial term is two years, with a City option to renew for a third year.
