Description
This sources sought notice is for market research to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses or other interested parties to provide annual proof testing (load testing) services for critical C-5 Galaxy engine handling and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) hoisting equipment. The government anticipates establishing a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for this recurring requirement. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, test beds, materials, non-destructive inspection (NDI) capabilities, and facilities necessary to perform annual load/proof testing in accordance with applicable Air Force Technical Orders, military specifications, and OEM guidance. This includes conducting post-test inspections and providing official certification tags/documentation for successfully tested equipment. Vendors must indicate their capability to perform testing on-site at Westover ARB, MA, or transport the equipment to an off-site, certified testing facility.
