Description
Columbia Association seeks on-call wood flooring services at its facilities, with work assigned as needed through individual job orders. The scope includes annual buffing and recoating of basketball court floors at Columbia Gym and Supreme Sports Club, as well as other wood flooring projects. Work includes buffing the floor and applying sealer and gym finish; the contractor must be able to supply and install a variety of wood flooring and may self-perform or subcontract specialty flooring and sports-floor striping. Individual task orders are capped at $100,000, and larger projects will be bid separately. The estimated annual expenditure is $60,000, but there is no guaranteed minimum purchase. The initial term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement. Proposals must include the completed pricing schedule, experience listing, at least three similar-contract references from the last three years, a contractor qualifications summary of no more than two pages, a current Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation certificate, and the required MBE form. The pricing schedule requests lump-sum prices for the two annual gym-floor projects, fully loaded hourly rates for five labor categories, equipment and personnel information, and a materials/parts markup or discount. A copy of applicable MBE certification must also be included if the proposer is certified. The solicitation requires insurance certificates at contract execution, not with the proposal.
