Description
The City of Healdsburg is soliciting sealed bids for the Villa Chanticleer Modernization Project (CIP-18-026). The base work includes kitchen renovations with new appliances, front-entry improvements for accessibility compliance, and other work required by the project plans and technical specifications. Two alternates are included: bar renovations with new appliances, and repair of the basement beer cooler and remote refrigeration system. Bidders may propose equivalent products unless the plans or specifications require matching products already in use. A valid Class B California contractor's license is required. Bids must include bidder's security equal to at least 10 percent of the total bid price for the base bid and listed additive or deductive items. The successful bidder must provide payment or labor-and-materials and performance bonds, each in an amount of at least 100 percent of the contract amount, within 10 working days after written notice of award. California prevailing-wage requirements apply. Award will be based on the lowest responsive total bid for the base bid, Additive Alternate 01, and Deductive Alternate 02.
