Description
Fraser Health Authority is seeking proposals from architectural firms pre-qualified for acute-care projects greater than $150,000 to serve as managing consultant for the Royal Columbian Hospital mammography replacement project. The selected consultant will coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical services; investigate existing systems; develop designs and construction documents; support permitting, tendering, bid evaluation, construction administration, commissioning, closeout, and a one-year warranty review. Sub-consultants for mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines should be selected from the Authority's pre-qualified lists. The project will replace an existing mammography machine beyond its lifecycle and renovate the mammography room, including new compliant hand-hygiene facilities, millwork, countertops and cupboards, possible lighting replacement, workstation and monitor relocation, wall repairs, painting, and related electrical and communications work. The estimated construction budget is $500,000. Proposals must include technical, financial, relationship-disclosure, and funding-disclosure submissions in PDF format, with the technical submission covering Sections 1–7 of Appendix B and the financial submission covering Section 8.
