The U.S. District Court for the District of Utah is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor for the complete audio-visual buildout of Courtroom 3.100 at the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Salt Lake City. The scope includes furnishing, installing, configuring, programming, integrating, and testing audio systems, video presentation and conferencing systems, AV-over-IP equipment, control systems, microphones, speakers, displays, cameras, document cameras, processors, network switches, racks, cabling, power equipment, assisted-listening and interpretation equipment, and related accessories. The contractor must provide a complete operational system, including required ancillary hardware, installation labor, programming, training, testing, documentation, and coordination with owner-furnished equipment. The solicitation permits non-brand offerings when the vendor explains how they meet the listed brand specifications. Required proposal-time submissions include a completed Schedule B showing offered makes/models, quantities, and pricing; manufacturer specification sheets for each requested substitution; and a restatement of the scope of work incorporating the stated criteria. The award will be firm-fixed-price to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer. The performance period is 12 months from award, with desired delivery within 100 days after receipt of the offer. The specifications also require relevant AV installation experience, qualified factory-trained personnel, on-site installation and training, testing and acceptance support, and a one-year warranty.
