Description
Lee County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting a contractor to install two ChargePoint electric bus chargers as part of the LeeTran Electric Bus Charging Infrastructure project. The work includes site demolition, excavation and trenching, concrete equipment pads, protective bollards, pavement restoration, pavement markings, erosion and sediment controls, and related site improvements. The contractor must furnish all required labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills, and incidentals. The project is funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration and requires compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and Buy America requirements for manufactured products. The solicitation package includes technical specifications, civil plans, equipment installation guides, a minimum qualifications form, bid forms, affidavits, certifications, and other compliance documents. The public Q&A confirms that the response deadline is November 3, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time, and that bids may be submitted electronically through Ion Wave or hand-delivered to the Lee County Procurement Management Division.
