Description
The City of Andrews is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to construct approximately 1,600 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC C900 DR18 water line along SW Avenue I. The work includes excavation, trenching, bedding, backfill, compaction, connections to existing 8-inch and 10-inch water lines, valves, reducers, fittings, and two fire hydrant assemblies. The project also includes approximately 75 linear feet of 24-inch directional boring and steel casing beneath SW Mustang Drive, traffic coordination, testing, disinfection, flushing, cleanup, and restoration of asphalt, streets, driveways, rights-of-way, and other affected areas. Proposers must demonstrate relevant municipal water infrastructure experience, provide comparable project references and experience, submit a proposed schedule and itemized cost proposal, identify subcontractors, and complete required city forms and statutory certifications. Performance and payment bonds are required in the full amount of the proposed cost, and the successful proposer must provide insurance certificates meeting the final contract requirements.
